The government's initiatives regarding the implementation of evaluation in the public sector were presented by government spokesman, Pavlos Marinakis, at the press briefing on Monday

More specifically, Marinakis pointed out that in the immediate future, approximately 4 million citizens are expected to receive a detailed questionnaire for the evaluation of public services, while he reiterated the government's intention to institutionalize the evaluation during the upcoming Constitutional Review.

He also referred to the renewal for another year of short-stay visas for Turkish citizens on 12 islands in the Eastern Aegean.

Marinakis announced that a cabinet meeting under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet at the Maximos Mansion on Wednesday, March 26, at 16:00.

The main issue of the upcoming meeting will be the new increase in the minimum wage. "This year it has double value because it will also involve civil servants."
Regarding developments in Turkiye, he stated that the situation is worrying.

"Concessions to the rule of law cannot be tolerated. Under these circumstances, it becomes difficult to organize the High-Level Cooperation Council between Greece and Turkiye," he noted.
