Tsoukalas: 'The prime minister is greatly exposed'

Main opposition PASOK-Movement for Change spokesperson Kostas Tsoukalas on Monday said that his party is calling for the immediate dismissal of the new Deputy Minister of Energy, Nikos Tsafos, claiming that the prime minister is greatly exposed for his choice.
In his statement, Tsoukalas said that "24 hours have passed since the revelation of other tweets by the Deputy Minister of Energy, Mr. Tsafos, in which he deconstructs the national position regarding a single difference with Turkiye, and the Maximos Mansion remains silent."
"What does the deputy minister of the Greek Government mean when he talks about Turkish positions that have a basis? Which of the things that Turkiye wants have value, as the deputy minister states?" he added.
Tsoukalas noted that "at a time when the doctrine of calm waters has been overturned by the ongoing revisionist narrative of the neighbouring country, it is inconceivable that a member of the government would share such views" and underlined that "the prime minister is severely exposed and must immediately dismiss him."
