Kehagia: Karamanlis must encourage his party to set up a parliamentary preliminary investigation into Tempi

"Mr. Karamanlis essentially said nothing in parliament, he didn't apologise, he just said that he feels the pain and anger of the victims' relatives, but he didn't place himself at the disposal of justice," main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance spokesperson, Voula Kehagia, said on Thursday regarding the speech given by the former transport minister the day before, in her interview with radio station "Athens 98.4".
She said that, on the contrary, Mr. Karamanlis "once again provoked, saying 'why don't you propose a preliminary examination?' and asking for an amnesty," while adding:
"If Mr. Karamanlis wants to be exonerated of these responsibilities that the main opposition and all the opposition parties which at least signed the censure motion, are accusing him of, let him do this and let him encourage his party to set up a parliamentary preliminary investigation committee," for the aforementioned reason.
