Tsiodras on amendment for migrants

The head of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' press office Dimitris Tsiodras spoke of the amendment for the migrants that will be put to vote in the Greek parliament in an interview with ANT1 TV on Tuesday.
"Those (migrants) that are staying and working in Greece in the last three years can receive a residence permit. It is a one-off amendment for those that were in Greece for three years until November 2023.
Tsiodras also explained that "the seven-year period for the request of a residence permit do not change."
The amendment refers to roughly 30,000 persons that are living in some kind of grey zone in Greece. However, they must have something, a document, that will prove that they arrived in Greece three years ago and are working in the country.
