Greece's promotion as one of the most attractive investment destinations will dominate Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' visit to London.

Mitsotakis will deliver the keynote address at the Greek Investment Conference held by the Athens Stock Exchange and Morgan Stanley on Monday, and will meet with investments and business leaders.

Government sources explained that the Greek economy demonstrates positive momentum which is reflected to the fact that more than 240 investors will participate in the conference and more than 300 meetings have been scheduled to take place in the two days dedicated to Greece and its investment opportunities.

The same sources noted that the prime minister, who will be accompanied by his chief economic advisor, Alex Patelis, is expected to have contacts with important investors, who have either already placed funds in Greece, or are interested in doing so. Specifically, according to sources, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will have the opportunity to highlight the positive performance of the Greek economy in a difficult and uncertain international environment. He will talk, according to his colleagues, about the economic achievements of his government, such as reducing unemployment, increasing GDP, doubling exports, as well as promoting reforms that are changing the country and creating a stable and secure environment at a critical juncture.

Moreover, the prime minister will be introduced to the delegates by the Morgan Stanley International chief investment officer Franck Petitgas, with whom Mitsotakis will exchange views on Greece, the performance of the Greek economy and the reforms. Government officials noted that Greece has long been on the radar of international investors as a country that has left behind the days of surveillance and supervision and is now achieving high growth rates while maintaining fiscal balance, but also as an EU member state, which is a pillar of stability and security in the region in a period of intense geopolitical uncertainty.

At 19:00 (Athens time) the same day, he and his spouse Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotaki will be received by King Charles III at Windsor Castle.

At 21:30 (Athens time), Mitsotakis will hold a discussion with London School of Economics Hellenic Observatory director and professor of Modern Greek Studies Kevin Featherstone, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the observatory's foundation. The event's title is "Greece - the Way Forward: in conversation with Kyriakos Mitsotakis", and it is scheduled to conclude at 22:30 Athens time.
