There will be a government-initiated debate on the wildfires in parliament this year, as there is every year, in September when the tension and the pressure from August wildfires is over and the fire season will be ending, in order to make an assessment, government sources said on Wednesday.

The same sources clarified that the debate will be based on real facts and evidence, not on political soundbites.
