Opposition PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis on Wednesday highlighted the rapid increase in the cost of living in an interview with SKAI TV, accusing the government of "creating a virtual reality".

He sternly attacked Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, saying that Greece would have an honest government if Androulakis were himself the prime minister: "What is happening today is a dishonesty at the expense of the public interest. Inequalities are increasing rapidly, the National Health system is collapsing, the high cost of living is the worst in Europe, and he tells us that the government has done well".

Androulakis said he was optimistic that his party will do well in the European elecions, and that it will rise up to second place.

He also repeated his proposal for a political leaders' debate, commenting that there are many reasons why someone should vote for PASOK.
