Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Staikouras will take part in the Informal EU Transport Ministers meeting that will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Egmont Palace in Brussels.

On Wednesday the meeting will discuss greening transport, as well as the initiatives to promote active mobility and for cycling and rail connectivity in Europe.

There will also be a signing of a European Declaration for Cycling between the European Commission, the European Parliament and the EU Council.

Afterwards, there will be a meeting on the improvement of the railway connectivity between the European cities.

On the agenda for Thursday is a discussion on enhancing resilience and financing the TransEuropean Transport Network.
