PM Mitsotakis' programme outlines ambitions for Greece in 2030, Skertsos says

"The prime minister presented a programme ten days ago showing our ambitions for Greece in 2030. A country that will be more productive, more social, green and digital, fairer and finally a stronger Greece," government spokesman Akis Skertsos said during a press briefing on Monday.
"A country with people who are proud of it and stay or return to it by choice. So that they can live better than previous generations and can reasonably hope for a better future for their children," he said and added: "This is the stake of the next elections and it is only ensured with a stable and self-reliant government that will not put the country into adventures of misgovernment and outdated political experiments belonging to other eras. Because this is what we hearing as a proposal from the opposition. A proposal to return to the past with people and ideas of the past. Against a proposal of a dynamic move to the future."
Skertsos also referred to the economy, saying: "We want growth rates of 3%, wages to increase by 25%, and a public debt falling below 130% by 2027."
"We want and can further reduce taxes and levies, support young people, have a complete digital state, with a quality health system", he added.
Skertsos underlined that these goals mean "an independent and self-reliant country with more and better jobs."
