Androulakis proposes new EKAS for 350.000 pensioners

PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis on Monday was in Grevena, the second stop of his tour in Western Macedonia.
In statements to the press he noted that there is an intense demographic problem in Western Macedonian and in Grevena underlining that "as state we must support the society, the young couples and the pensioners". In parallel, he proposed a new "social solidarity allowance for 350,000 pensioners (EKAS) and the abolition of the personal difference".
Androulakis also referred to the energy poverty issue that mostly plagues the mountainous areas of Greece including Grevena underlining that "the green transition should be held in a fair way".
